Dohrn Adds 100% Coverage in Missouri

Being the leaders in LTL in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska wasn't enough for Dohrn Transfer Company. In August, 2005, Dohrn opened operations throughout the state of Missouri.

"We saw a void in quality carriers between our current territory and Missouri," said Gary Dohrn. "Our customers needed reliable service and we don't like to disappoint."

August 1, Dohrn opened in St. Joseph, Sturgeon. Rapid demand expedited the opening of a third Missouri terminal in Springfield on September 19th. This gave Dohrn 100% direct coverage to the entire state of Missouri. The new terminals were put to work right from the start by excited customers who were impressed with the level of service they could now get.

To increase service levels even more, Dohrn added a fourth Missouri terminal in Cape Girardeau on March 13, 2006.
