2/5/07 New Terminal in Cameron, Missouri Opens

Dohrn is proud to announce the opening of a new Kansas City terminal. The terminal located just outside Kansas City in Cameron began operations in January of 2007 to increase flexibility in the Kansas City area.

The newly constructed 29 door facility can handle over 5 times the capacity of freight which can be processed daily inbound and outbound of Kansas City. Dohrn Transfer has been increasing business in the Kansas City area since opening operations in Missouri in August of 2005. Filling a much needed niche of providing next day service to most of the regional territory from Kansas City has grabbed the attention of businesses shipping those lanes and brought on business quickly. This addition raises exciting potential for growth in the Missouri and Kansas states.

The larger facility has already allowed Dohrn Transfer to add 12 new employees to handle the additional business. Dohrn has fit in well to Missouri and is excited to see what the future holds in the “Show-Me” state.
