LTL, or Less-Than-Truckload is an abbreviation used in the trucking industry to describe a quantity of freight less than that required for an application of a truckload rate. The historical defination for LTL freight is shipments under 10,000 pounds. However, the vast majority of LTL freight lies in the range between 300 and 3000 pounds.

Dohrn Transfer provides 100% complete state LTL coverage for Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska with our own drivers and equipment. We also serve portions of the surrounding states including Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Indiana and Kentucky.

We offer Premier Partnership service to the area in our partial states that we don't serve direct ourselves.
